Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of design, and planning of projects; works as part of a team or as Lead Engineer on select projects; represents the team in meetings; works as part of a team of engineers, designers and drafters.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineer on projects.
- Responsible for the design and production of normal and emergency power, lighting, and fire alarm systems
- Review of narratives, drawings, and specifications for all assigned projects.
- Construction Administration duties.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years electrical design experience.
- BSEE, BSEET
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong technical background, and strong knowledge of electrical systems
- including lighting, fire alarm, power distribution, for various institutional, medical, laboratory, commercial, public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher
- education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.
- Full knowledge and understanding of state building codes, energy codes and NFPA codes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.
- E.I.T. is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
