JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our office is seeking a mechanical engineer, who will be responsible for the design of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing and fire protection) building systems as a part of a project team and under the supervision of a senior engineer. . The candidate should have a proven track record of solid design work, meeting project deadlines and budgets, and working well in a team environment.
The ideal candidate is striving toward an independent design role, project management opportunities, and / or technical subject matter expertise. The candidate should either be licensed in North Carolina as a PE, or have an EI and be working toward licensure.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
- ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience required with progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems.
- PE Desired
- Self-motivated and well organized.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
